As I was cleaning up emails yesterday, I came across one from Jake - remember him? The one auditioning at the Eastman School of Music. Si I sent him a quick email to catch up and here's where he's at - amazing.
He is spending some time right now working with his sister in Guatemala researching water filters to clean up contaminated water. In the fall he's headed to Wisconsin to study math, Chinese and as he said - of course classical trumpet. Music is his passion I know - and I wish him success!
