The idea for a book about the seat beside you (yes - the name came to me right away) started I'd say at Chapter 3 - it was the third flight I had in a row that the person beside me was connected in some way to me. So let me start with the first connection here - should it be Chapter 1???
I was on a Boston to Baltimore to Rochester flight - you'd think they could go direct Boston to Rochester - but I guess you get to fly farther for cheaper - hmmmm.....
Anyways - I'm sitting next to a lovely young lady (early 20's) and down the aisle comes a good friend of mine - Ken. he hugs and kisses both of us - and ends up in the seat behind me (another book??) - As it turns out, Jamie (the girl beside me) has a brother that went to school with my son. And - her aunt is my realtor (I was in the process of house hunting at the time) Small world!
Jamie also was quick with ideas for my son's 21st birthday. What a great flight!
